

Deborah Eyer Garvin, MS, RQAP-GLP is an experienced professional in regulatory research and animal breeding. She has held important roles in the industry and is currently the President of Pacific Rim GLP Consulting and Training.
Debi has been involved in regulatory research since 1986 and has provided training and consulting services in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines for organizations like the FDA, EPA, and OECD. She has also worked with the FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) on Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
In her previous positions, Debi served as the GLP/GCP Manager for Huvepharma, Inc., an Animal Health Company. She was responsible for ensuring compliance with GLP and GCP regulations to maintain the integrity of their animal health research.
Debi’s current role as President of Pacific Rim GLP Consulting and Training allows her to continue offering consulting and training services in GLP and related areas as an independent contractor.
Outside of her professional work, Debi has a passion for animal breeding. With a Masters degree in genetics, she focuses on breeding llamas and Australian Shepherds with desirable traits such as good temperament, conformation, and appearance. Her llamas have consistently won in competitions, and she strives to maintain the iconic features and working abilities of Australian Shepherds while breeding for a friendly disposition suitable for families.
